Mag Gun - Not a Light Gun, but a New New Thing in Gun Controller.

There is a confusion that Mag Gun is a light gun or a revival of it. It is not!! It is a new new thing.

Mag Gun is the latest species of control device in the FPS game world, which could adapt to whatever latest technology, software or screen and offer us the new sensation of being a real soldier.

Light Gun had its glory but it is history. Let us have a look at how it works and why it ceases to be an option for FPS Gamers:

1. Light Gun works with CRT Monitors and only CRT Monitors.

However, Mag Gun works with all monitors or screens, including CRT, LCD, LED, OLED, DLP, SED, QLED, DTV, FED, HDTV, Plasma TV or any Projector Screen.

2. Light Gun is based on a light sensor technology.

"The trick to this method lies in the nature of the cathode ray tube inside the video monitor......... When the player pulls the trigger, the computer (often assisted by the display circuitry) times how long it takes the electron beam to excite the phosphor at the location at which the gun is pointed. The light gun sends a signal after sensing the sudden small change in brightness of a point on the screen when the electron gun refreshes that spot. The computer then calculates the targeted position based on the monitor's horizontal refresh rate (the fixed amount of time it takes the beam to get from the left to right side of the screen). ........Once the computer knows where the gun is pointed, it can tell through collision detection if it coincides with the target or not."

However, Mag Gun is based on a new technology called virtual positioning with 5 motion detection chips inside Mag Gun recording the motion, direction, speed and flow of gamer movement and position. Our new pointing device works by itself without the constraint of using any particular kind of screen.

3. Light Gun could not function well in an environment being too bright or with the CRT smaller than 14 inch.

However, Mag Gun works well with any environment, indoor or outdoor where it is too dark or too bright. With Mag Gun, the size of your screen or watching device doesn't matter.

4. Light Gun doesn't work properly when you are pointing at the margin of the screen.

Mag Gun offer you no boundary when you are targeting the enemies in FPS Games.

5. Light Gun works well only with old-time games like "Duck-Hut" or "Virtua Cop/ Virtua Squad".

Mag Gun works with all FPS games like The House of Dead III, Battlefield, Far Cry, Mass Effect, Avatar , Modern Warfare , Call of Duty and etc.

6. Light Gun works only with 2D games.
